Dominic Sessa portrays a 19-year-old Bourdain, navigating the world with a punk-rock spirit that would later define his culinary approach. Bourdain’s estate has backed the project, stating, “We chose to support Tony because it is not a standard biopic and doesn’t attempt to summarise a life.” This endorsement suggests that the filmmakers have approached his story with care and respect.
