Cameron Diaz Welcomes Third Child, Nautas
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden welcomed their third child, a son named Nautas, on May 4, 2026. The couple’s announcement took fans by surprise as they celebrated the joy of expanding their family.
Diaz, at 53 years old, and Madden, aged 47, have embraced parenthood with open arms. The couple married in 2015 and are also parents to Raddix Wildflower Madden, born in 2019, and Cardinal Madden, born in 2024. “Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!” shared Benji on Instagram.
The name Nautas is derived from the Latin word for sailor—a nod to new beginnings. Diaz has been relatively absent from the limelight over the past decade but made her return to acting in 2025 with the film ‘Back in Action.’
Motherhood has transformed Diaz’s life. She expressed her gratitude for her family by stating, “I love being a mother. It’s the best, best, best part of my life.” Yet she also acknowledged that having children later in life comes with its own set of challenges.
“Having a family when you’re young…it’s like anything when you’re young: You do it. But when you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice. You really have to work hard for it,” she noted. This journey included utilizing surrogacy after navigating infertility issues.
As fans celebrate this new chapter for the couple, many are curious about how they will balance their growing family with their careers in entertainment.
